I ate the Oh She Glows (I’m on my phone, sorry for no link) detox salad for lunch today. Or should I say, the adjusted due to me being too lazy to pick up all the ingredients version.

It was very…vegetable-y…

To be fair, it’s not bad, and I think I’m underwhelmed because I left out some obviously key ingredients. I didn’t add the currants, raisins, or syrup. I did add chickpeas because I effing love chickpeas, so I basically have a bowl of broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, chickpeas, and sunflower seeds. Flavored with lemon juice.

I feel healthy and semi-full, but I’m also craving a massive piece of garlic cheese bread.

Since I’m still too lazy to pick up the missing ingredients, I may chop up some olives to give my remaining portions a kick. And maybe add ranch…although that makes it non-vegan, right?

This lunchtime vegan thing is hard for me. I just want some damn cheese. And I’m thinking about tonight’s beef tip recipe slow-cooking away at home…
